Looney Loops, a regular event at BRUFC on the 3rd Saturday of each month, will be holding a very special ‘JB Loops’ to raise funds for the IPF, who support JB’s Journey.
As most of you know, in November 2024, our own ‘JB’, John Baker, sustained a life-changing spinal injury whilst playing in a Vets Match. Following initial treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital and a subsequent transfer to Stoke Mandeville, John has made significant progress in his rehabilitation. He was able to attend the recent BRUFC Centenary Ball, and it was truly heartening to see him there.
He and his family are receiving ongoing support from the RFU Injured Players Foundation, which we are here to support with this event.
So, come and take part in this friendly Charity Fundraising Event, sign up and see how many laps you can complete of the BRUFC field in two hours.
16th August at Banbury Rugby Club, registration opens at 8:30am with a 10:00am start.
Minimum donation is £5 per person, and all proceeds will go to the IPF.
Just go to the fundraising page on the club shop or scan the QR code in the poster https://www.banburyrufc.com/payments/jbs-journey--looney-loops-fundraising-event-133040.html
Your two hours of effort can & will make a huge difference.
