

Banbury Hotsteppers entertained Brackley walking rugby at Oxford Road recently, following Banbury's success at the Northampton club last summer.
In a good-natured match, Brackley quickly went 4 tries up, as a very quiet Banbury side were slow to start. Things changed when Ian Leonard linked up with Steve Mascall and Phil Stone and walked in a cracking try. Jeremy Wilton followed up with a dummy pass to walk in. Outstanding defensive performances from Kate Wilton, Paul Lockett and Nick Simondsen Kerr kept Brackley at bay, before they walked in another towards the end. Mark Ellis and Mick Goode had great games on the wing, and Phil Leonardi kept attacking right to the end.
