Stroud travelled to the Oxfordshire county champions with their development squad (due to their county commitments) and got equally trounced.

If you are interested we put somewhere around 80 past our opponents with no reply but that’s not the real story.

Stroud were impressive in that their heads never went down. They could have given up but didn’t. They continued to play for the full 70 mins and didn’t look out of place on the pitch.

Our “best” try was from Sam kicking over their line and Adam on the wing catching the ball from behind his head and turning on the afterburners to score. Not an easy kick, not an easy catch but a great try.

When will the best of both teams play each other? That would be some match and a great way to settle a “best of three”. “Make it so” Mrs admin, “make it so”.

Super report from Stroud as well (although not quite as I saw it) . Well worth a look.
