We travelled to Daventry for a friendly fixture. After we observed the 2 minutes silence for Remembrance Day, we commenced the fixture. It was very obvious from the start that Daventry were going to give us a real physical contest. Within the first 10 minutes, Daventry took a deserved lead. Banbury then started to come into the match and equalised with a well-worked try. The half then was very even and end-to-end play with both teams not able to break each other down, so the half ended 5-5. Banbury started the second half strongly and with some strong running and quick ball at the rucks, Banbury took a deserved lead 5-10. Banbury continued to play well and scored another 20 unanswered points. The match ended Daventry 5 Banbury 30.
