Our first chance of silverware today is in a 4-team tournament hosted by Old Coventrians, which also includes Birmingham Exiles and Market Harborough.

We started our first match against the hosts, and it was a really tough and physical encounter. We were slow off the mark, and Old Coventrians deserved to take the lead to go 0-5 up. We then traded tries with both teams showing great aptitude towards defensive attack. We triumphed 15-10.

Onto the second game against Market Harborough. The rain started to come down, making playing conditions difficult as the ball was very slippery. We started to get into our stride and triumphed 15-0.

Onto our third and final group game against Birmingham Exiles, and we really put on a performance, nothing defence and attack triumphing 35-0.

Three wins from three meant we had one final game in the cup final against Old Coventrians. We started bright and took a deserved lead within the first five minutes. The match was very even, but due to a very good defensive display, we kept them scoreless and triumphed 15-0 to win the overall tournament and the cup.

Great achievement by all the boys winning four out of four and showing real team spirit on and off the field.

Thank you to Old Coventrians for being very good hosts.
