We travelled to Broadstreet and knew we were in for a real physical battle, and it did not disappoint. The teams were really well-matched all around the field. We started brightly and quickly got a score with a well-judged kick and follow-up to score, and got 0-5 up. With end-to-end play and some big hits, we ended the first half 15-25 up. The second half started as the first, although our hosts got the other score sheet first to bring the score back to 20-25. We then traded tries to lead 25-30. Some really quick play and link-up play created a chance, and we went 25-35 up. The game was coming to its conclusion and with some big hits and physical battles Broadstreet scored with last last play to end the match 30-35. A great win for Banbury. This was a great spectacle and played against a very well-drilled team. Thank you to Broadstreet for hosting.
