What a lovely morning it was for the Under 8s playing today. Sun was out so that meant a lot of happy players. Witney also came to visit to join in the fun and games and all the players knew that hot dogs were waiting for them at the end of the session.

After a quick chat between the players and coaches reminding them about "the TREDS" it was a warm up run round the pitch with some sneaky extra exercises thrown in for good measure. A fun game of bulldog and then it was split off for teams.

Unfortunately Witney didn't have quite enough players for 3 teams so some of our under 8s kindly volunteered to join them.

We were also a little short on coaches this week so a big thank you goes to Gary (a parent who likes to just watch from the sidelines) and Derek (who normally coaches on the Under 10s) ??

To finish the session off we done a kicking over the post competition which saw Witney win 25-23

This week's team of the week winners were Oliver, Caleb, Hugh, Seb and William. Oliver was also awarded the team trophy. All of these 5 showed great sportsmanship by volunteering to join Witneys team. Well done everyone ??

Next week is home training
