Despite a massive effort by the players who turned out, Banbury simply couldn't overcome a strong Chinnor side.

With Captain Steve Mascall delayed by traffic hold-ups on the M27 the omens weren't good from the outset.

With Henley defeating Oxford Harlequins by 31 - 12 in the other semi-final the final will now be between Chinnor and Henley.

The final will be held at Iffley Road stadium in Oxford next Wednesday (1st May) with a 7.30 pm kick-off. All supporters are welcome.

Ah well, there's always next season.....
