Banbury RUFC is delighted to host Looney Loops, a friendly and inclusive monthly event encouraging people from across the local community to get active in whatever way suits them.
Held at Banbury Rugby Club on the third Saturday of every month, each session runs from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Participants can arrive and join in at any point during the morning, with no requirement to attend for the full two hours.
Whether you would like to walk, shuffle, jog or run, Looney Loops provides an opportunity to exercise at your own pace in a welcoming and supportive environment. People can work towards a personal goal, enjoy some gentle activity with family and friends or simply come along to meet others from the community.
The event is completely free to attend, and everyone is encouraged to take part regardless of their pace or previous experience.
Looney Loops has already demonstrated the strength of the Banbury community. A special event held at Banbury RUFC in honour of John “JB” Baker raised more than £3,000 for the RFU Injured Players Foundation, with participants completing anything from one lap to twenty while supporting an important cause.
