Banbury RUFC will once again support the next generation of local talent by hosting a dedicated Sponsors Apprenticeship Day as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026.
Taking place at the Graf UK Stadium on Friday, 13th February (12:00pm–6:00pm), the event will bring together a number of the club’s valued sponsors and local businesses for an interactive afternoon designed to showcase real apprenticeship pathways available within the region.
Supporting Pathways Into Work
National Apprenticeship Week is a nationwide initiative that celebrates the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses and communities. The annual campaign highlights how apprenticeships help develop future skills, create opportunities, and strengthen local economies by connecting employers with aspiring young people.
At Banbury RUFC, the club believes rugby is about more than what happens on the pitch. By working closely with sponsors and partners, the club aims to provide meaningful opportunities that benefit players, supporters and the wider Banbury community.

The event will feature a range of Banbury RUFC sponsors, each bringing their own expertise and insight into apprenticeships within their industries. From construction and engineering to professional services and hospitality, the day reflects the strong community network that underpins the club.
By opening the clubhouse doors to students, job-seekers and families, Banbury RUFC hopes to create a welcoming environment where conversations about future careers can happen naturally, reinforcing the club’s commitment to community engagement beyond matchdays.
