This Sunday, 30 November, the Banbury Belles RUFC are set to join one of the biggest development events on the women’s rugby calendar as Aylesbury RFC hosts the South West Region Allianz Inner Warrior Festival.

With 160 women from 13 clubs taking part, the festival promises to be a landmark celebration of participation, growth and grassroots passion — and the Belles will be right in the thick of it.
A Big Stage for the Belles

The event opens at 10:45, with matches beginning from 12:00 across four pitches at Aylesbury’s Ostlers Field. The programme features a series of short-format, development-focused mini games, giving newer players vital experience and returning players the perfect opportunity to sharpen their skills.

As a club built on openness, spirit and genuine enjoyment of the game, the Banbury Belles head into the Festival with the perfect blend of enthusiasm, camaraderie and confidence — representing everything Inner Warrior rugby stands for.

Final Under the Lights
The action builds throughout the afternoon before closing with a special final under the lights on the AGP at 4:00pm, a great showcase moment for women’s rugby in the region.

Whether the Belles find themselves in the finals bracket or battling through the pools, it's guaranteed to be a brilliant day of rugby, development and togetherness.
