Banbury RUFC is looking forward to hosting the Banbury Beer Festival & Family Fun Day on Saturday 1st August 2026, bringing a packed day of drinks, food, music and entertainment to the club.

Running from 12.00 noon until 11.00pm, the festival has been created as a summer event for the whole community. Whether you are a beer and cider enthusiast, meeting friends for the afternoon or searching for a family day out, there will be plenty to enjoy throughout the day.

Festivalgoers will be able to explore a wide selection of local ales, craft beers and ciders from breweries and producers across the region. A Pimm’s and Prosecco Bar will also be available, alongside coffee, soft drinks and other hot and cold refreshments. Drink tokens and festival glasses will be available to purchase on the day and are not included within the admission ticket.

The festival’s Food Village will feature a range of freshly prepared options, including pizza, noodles, traditional German sausages, Indian street food and loaded fries.

There will also be live music and a DJ providing entertainment throughout the festival, while visitors can browse craft stalls featuring products from local makers, handmade gifts and artisan treats.

Fun for the whole family
Younger visitors will have plenty to keep them entertained, with fairground rides, inflatables, games and a dedicated children’s entertainment area.

Activities are set to include a bouncy castle, soft play, go-karts, teacup rides, a traditional carousel, face painting, hair tinselling, glitter tattoos, dancing and creative games. Families will also be able to relax together in the festival’s picnic areas.

Supporting important causes
The event is not only an opportunity to enjoy a memorable summer day at Banbury RUFC. Proceeds from the festival will be donated to Mind, in conjunction with the Banbury Barbarians Under-30s, and the Banbury RUFC Trauma Equipment Fund.

By attending, visitors will be helping to support important charitable and community causes while enjoying everything the festival has to offer.
